Great food, service is not consistently good
I like it here, the workers are nice and friendly. Food tastes good. They give good food portions to go. Comfortable place.
This review makes me very sad. We've been huge Panda Express fans for years, and have always loved the food. We started eating there when we lived in TX, and were super excited when they finally opened in Sioux Falls! Quality and service started out okay here, but have been on a sharp decline. Last night at about 7:45pm (well after dinner rush), we waited for about 20 minutes to get our food. It wasn't busy...a couple tables had people at them, and there were a couple cars in the drive through. I counted before we left and there were 7 empty pans on the line...7 flavors sold out! There was one poor guy making food by himself, one poor girl (who was very nice) working the line, and everyone else, including the manager, seemed very uninterested in serving customers, just sweeping up or giving direction to other employees. When a bowl of orange chicken came out, it was gone due to backed up orders (including ours). When we finally rang up our order, the manager had to come over to open the change machine to get quarters for our change (because the till only had two ones in it and he couldn't get more for some reason)...but even though we were one foot from him and had been standing there for 20 minutes, he didn't look at us or even acknowledge our existence. Sad to see far down hill this location has gone...
The food is good, but the place is dirty. The floor feels like it was washed with sticky Asian sauce. It wasn't busy and they definitely had time to at least clean the tables. Good management would go a long way.
Went inside take-out order. Only four people inside eating and no orange chicken made. Chef was sitting down taking a break. This is at 5:30. When we got home, orange chicken tasted like general chicken. Went back and they exchanged it, but still did not taste like any orange chicken I have ever had at Panda Express. Will not be going back to this Panda Express ever!
