Great place to go for a quick car wash and vacuum if you desire. Don't expect the employees to be too friendly to you though. You barely get eye contact and half of them are too busy with their ear buds in to give you a wave or a thanks for coming. Also, don't expect to leave without a few water spots or streaks as they don't spend a lot of attention to detail. This is true if there are 50 cars or 5 cars being washed.
Tried this location a week ago was not impressed. Decided to give them another shot this week, purchased the best package, nobody even attempted to wipe down the interior.
This place does a good job on my cars. I've been to other washes in the area and always find the rear of my car left with dirt, even after a second pass. My one complaint is that I came in with my 2 year old son and before I could even get out, much less get my son out, two guys rush in an began vacuuming. Their hustle is awesome, but they freaked my son out. What I was hoping to be a cool, fun experience for my son ended up scaring him. For a week, every time we got in the car, I had to assure him we weren't going to the carwash... Lol
Really disappointed. Was my first time there (I used to work at empire so have always gone there). My car was fairly dirty, I'm a single mom of two toddlers. I didn't want to mess around with vacuuming it myself. So I paid for the best package they had for a wash. Was a waste of money. My rims were still way too dirty and streaky. Dirt all over the back of my car. Could still see finger prints from closing the back. And they completely failed to vacuum the back of my car at all. If I had more time on my hands I would of made them re do it. Will not ever return.
I've been to 10th Street Autawash twice. The first time was more than a year ago for a full service clean. The second time was this past week for a full service wash and detail. The first time I remember noticing how it was decent but there wasn't great attention to detail for wiping down door jams, etc., but I wasn't too concerned about it. The detail I recently had done was a decent job with some minor spots where it didn't seem like they cleaned inside. Those spots didn't bug me too much, because I was just happy to finally get my vehicle back. My experience was negative because of their poor communication and scheduling. I booked my appointment several days in advance, brought it in before my scheduled time, thought it was odd that I hadn't heard anything 5-6 hours later and called to check on it. They said they were working on it and it should be done in 30-45 minutes. I called 2 hours later and the same person on the phone seemed confused that it wasn't done and that I had to call back again. After placing me on hold and checking, he said his manager would have to check on it and would be calling me back. I thought that was odd, so after another 30 minutes of waiting without hearing anything, I decided to drive over and find out what was going on. I found out that they were a full day behind on scheduling and were simply behind, although I'm not sure why they had my vehicle in the detail center for so long after they originally said they were working on it. There was very poor communication and they clearly have some issues to work out as a team with scheduling and their system for hospitality and appointments. I gave two stars, because the young manager was polite and gave me two free washes for the inconvenience, and he recognized that they need to work on communication with scheduling detail appointments.
